XIVLauncher (abbreviated as XL) is a faster launcher for Final Fantasy XIV, with various available addons and enhancements to the game! Destiny 2 destination map legendaries.
Solution for the unable to launch FFXIV updater error It has a lot to do with permissions in your my documents folder. In order to install FINAL FANTASY XIV, at least 60 GB of free space is necessary. It is recommended to install FINAL FANTASY XIV to the default hard drive location. Check Windows login user name.
Why?
. If you are not logged in with a Windows account with administrator privileges, you may not be able to make the necessary change configurations to open the launcher correctly with the latest theme. Mac The Mac version is not compatible with the latest launcher theme. Currently, the launcher will only open in its old theme on Mac. With the start to early access and the launcher of Stormblood just around the corner, I've been playing around with an update to the game launcher UI The goa.
The original FFXIV launcher is slow, tedious, kinda ugly and cannot save your password. This project aims to fix that and add some QoL features to the game that were not there before, such as:
- Auto-login
- Fast patching
- Discord Rich Presence
- Fast in-game market board price checks
- Chat filtering
- Chat bridge to Discord
- Discord notifications for duties, retainer sales, etc.

Check the settings page and use the /xlhelp command in-game to see available commands.

Download the latest 'Setup.exe' from the releases page and run it. XIVLauncher will start and will be installed to your start menu.To uninstall, you can use the Windows Programs & Apps menu or right click XIVLauncher in your start menu.
Plugin API
XIVLauncher lets you use many community-created plugins that improve your game. Please check this site for a list of them.
To make your own in-game plugins for XIVLauncher, check out the API documentation and the sample plugin. Where is my steam screenshot folder.

Isn't this cheating?
We don't think so - our official guideline for plugins on this launcher is this:
Make sure that your plugin does not directly interact with the game servers in a way that is..
a) outside of specification, as in allowing the player to do things or submit data to the server that would not be possible by normal means or by a normal player on PC or PS4.
b) automatic, as in polling data or making requests without direct interaction from the user which could create unwanted load on the server or give away that XIVLauncher is being used.
We feel like that this offers developers the freedom to improve the game's functionality in ways that SE can't, while officially disallowing plugins that can give unfair advantages to players on other platforms.

The problems you are encountering may be due to cookies or JavaScript being disabled in your internet options. Please exit out the launcher and try the following steps:
1. Open Internet Options
Open Control Panel → Select Network and Internet → Choose Internet Options
2. Click on the Security tab and select the Custom level button
3. Scroll down to Active scripting. Select Enable, then click OK.
4. Click on the Privacy tab and then click the Default button if it is available.
5. Click OK and then open the FINAL FANTASY XIV launcher again.
